FULL-TIME - MK DONS 3 CARLISLE UNITED 1

Dons come from behind to secure back-to-back league wins with an excellent performance at stadiummk - Peter Leven's double and a towering header from Miguel Llera doing the damage.

They fell behind as early as the fourth minute when the Dons failed to clear after Graham Kavanagh's piledriver was saved by Willy Gueret, and Cleveland Taylor's cross was expertly headed in by Danny Graham.

But the Dons responded well, dominating possession and taking the game to the visitors with the home crowd behind them. Llera saw a header cleared off the line before Sam Baldock clipped the bar with one of his own and then the breakthrough came.

Mark Wright's low cross deflected out to Leven on the edge of the penalty area, and the Glaswegian fired a low right-footed shot across Ben Williams and inside the far post.

That gave the Dons parity at the break, and they continued to dominate in the second period, driving the visitors back with a string of set-pieces and constant attacking pressure.

They finally took the lead just after the hour mark when Leven's terrific cross from the right curled to the far post and Llera climbed to power the ball home.

Consolidation seemed the aim of the game for the home side from that point, though Shaun Cummings went close with a curling effort late on.

But Leven secured the points after Jude Stirling, on to replace Gallen as a makeshift striker, was brought down by Danny Livesey in the area with two minutes to play.

90+3mins - We're in the final added minute as Carlisle try to fight back but the game's up now. Dons are home and dry.

Goal89mins - GOAL! MK DONS 3 CARLISLE UNITED 1 - PETER LEVEN (PEN)
A second of the afternoon for Leven makes the points safe in the final minute. A wonderful driving run from Stirling down the left brings about the penalty as he tricks his way past Livesey before being tripped by the Carlisle skipper in the area. Leven spots the ball up, sends Williams the wrong way and secures the win.

Penalty88mins - PENALTY TO THE DONS!

86mins - Roberto Di Matteo signals a five-man defence from the technical area. Cummings has moved inside to make a central three and Regan has slotted in at right-back. Things open up in the Dons half for Myrie-Williams momentarily but his shot from 30 yards trickles wastefully wide.

Four official board84mins - Luke Chadwick gets a fantastic ovation from the Dons supporters as he makes way for Regan. Chants of "sign him up, sign him up, sign him up," erupt from the Cowshed.

Yellow Card84mins - First booking of the afternoon and Llera can have no complaint. Graham turns him nicely on halfway down the Carlisle right and the Spaniard just pulls him back.

83mins - Dons are preparing a change with Carl Regan ready to come on, but he'll have to wait for this Dons attack to subside first.

79mins - Great work from Cummings high up the pitch from right-back, moving inside before his curling left-foot shot flies just past the far post from 18 yards.

77mins - Chadwick wins a free-kick 35 yards out and it's worked intricately to Wright but his shot is sliced well wide.

76mins - Clever little ball in behind from Bridge-Wilkinson looking for Madine but there's just too much weight on it and it runs out for a goal-kick before the substitute can sweep a shot in from 10 yards.

74mins - Free-kick goes the visitors' way after Llera was judged to have pushed Myrie-Williams as the pair chased a ball down the Carlisle right. Cross is a dangerous one but the Dons deal with it well and Leven clears.

Four official board72mins - Double change for Carlisle as Gary Madine and Jennison Myrie-Williams come on to replace Taylor and Joyce.

71mins - Leven shifts the ball onto his favoured left foot after being set up by Chadwick on the edge of the box, but curls his effort high and wide.

70mins - This afternoon's attendance is an impressive 11,194 - a superb lunchtime turnout from the Dons fans and, it must be said, those who have made the long trip from Carlisle.

69mins - Stirling shows the first signs of his bullish forward play as Wright hustles Horwood out of possession on the edge of his own box before Stirling muscles the full-back off the ball to recover it. He tries to fire the ball across the six-yard box from the right but Williams cuts it out before Baldock can convert.

67mins - Looks like Stirling is going to play as a makeshift striker. He's done it before for the Dons and he'll certainly be a willing worker. His long throws could also come into play.

Four official board65mins - First change for the Dons sees Gallen replaced by Jude Stirling. It'll be an interesting reshuffle but the Dons have successfully turned this around and are good value for their lead.

Goal62mins - GOAL! MK DONS 2 CARLISLE UNITED 1 - MIGUEL LLERA
A goal for Miguel Llera and boy did he enjoy that! Consistent Dons pressure pays off after a string of set-pieces around the penalty area. Leven takes the latest, a corner from the right which comes straight back to him. The second delivery is a wonderful inswinging ball to the far post, over 'keeper Williams, and Llera climbs above his marker to power a header into the net from beyond the far post. His celebrations in front of the Cowshed are less than muted!

60mins - Another Dons corner, and there have been a few of them, comes in from the left but Gallen can't get away from Raven to get on the end of Wright's delivery. Dons really starting to up the pressure now.

58mins - Shouts for a penalty as Leven's clever ball in behind for Baldock sees the striker go down under pressure from Raven in the area. Would have been harsh, it has to be said.

58mins - Baldock's shot is blocked for a Dons corner down the right but Leven's delivery is headed away by Kavanagh. What a debut he's having, he's been everywhere so far.

54mins - Good run from Baldock down the left-hand side, twisting and teasing against Livesey before the Carlisle skipper halts him level with the edge of the penalty area to concede a throw-in.

53mins - Wright whips a dangerous ball into the Carlisle box from the right that Williams does well to take off Gallen's head on the stretch. At the other end, Bridge-Wilkinson feeds Graham in the right side of the area but his low ball guided through the six-yard box goes unconverted.

52mins - Couple of loose passes from the home side, first from Cummings who looked a little undecided what to do with a ball down the right, and then Navarro trying to recover it. Lewington cuts out the danger as Taylor tries to break though.

50mins - Wright's corner from the left causes a bit of confusion in the Carlisle box, Llera and Chadwick both close to capitalising on it. Eventually cleared.

46mins - Graham within a whisker of regaining the lead for the visitors after good work from Bridge-Wilkinson inside the Dons area. He rolls the ball back to Graham from the right side of the area, who guides a side-footed shot past the far post from 12 yards on the angle.

Whistle1.18pm - SECOND HALF KICKS OFF
Dons attacking the Cowshed as they like to do in the second half. The sun is still shining into the north end of the stadium which might give Willy Gueret a problem.

HALF-TIME - MK DONS 1 CARLISLE UNITED 1
Sides go in level at the break after an interesting 45 minutes and, given the nightmare start they had, the Dons will probably be grateful for that.

It looks like a big attendance at stadiummk this afternoon and many of them had barely taken their seats when Carlisle took the lead, Dons failing to react when debutant Graham Kavanagh's piledriver was saved by Willy Gueret and Cleveland Taylor's right wing cross was expertly headed in by Danny Graham.

That was only four minutes in and it rattled the home side, but they recovered well to control possession for long periods and saw a Miguel Llera header cleared off the line by Taylor.

Sam Baldock has been a livewire in attack and saw a well-improvised header clip the crossbar from a Mark Wright cross on 37 minutes.

Peter Leven deservedly drew them level a minute later when Wright's fierce low cross from the right popped out to him on the edge of the box, and the Glaswegian drove a low shot across Ben Williams and inside the far post.

45mins - Two minutes to be added at the end of the half. The Dons would probably like to play a bit longer at the moment, they're on top.

43mins - Dons have found their feet here and are upping the ante before the break. Leven wins good ball in midfield before getting it back from Baldock's feet and feeding Wright to his right. The winger fires in a low shot from 16 yards that Williams blocks well then gathers at the second attempt.

41mins - Dons will probably be happy to get to the break level after that early setback. Leven will be thrilled with that - a fourth goal of the season and with his wrong foot as well. Superb break out of defence by Chadwick down the left who carries the ball over halfway, holds off Joyce before taking on Livesey into the area and the Carlisle skipper is forced into a hurried clearance.

Goal38mins - GOAL! MK DONS 1 CARLISLE UNITED 1 - PETER LEVEN
Dons back in business thanks to superb finish from Glaswegian Peter Leven. Chadwick, again moving in field from the left, feeds Wright on the right touchline who fizzes a low ball into the Carlisle area. It pops out to Leven on the edge of the box and the former Rangers man fires an excellent right-footed shot across Williams and inside the far post.

37mins - Half-chance for the home side and it's Baldock on the end of it again. Wright's cross from the right is slightly behind the little striker but he gets good purchase on his header and it clips the top of Williams' crossbar from 12 yards.

36mins - Cummings, who has been tested by Simon Hackney down the Carlisle left in the first half, takes no chances with a ball over his head into the right corner and just hooks it out for a throw. Dons still looking for rhythm.

32mins - Lovely turn from Chadwick receiving Lewington's throw to leave Raven behind. He feeds the ball into Gallen's feet on the edge of the box, who tries to let it run through his legs for the on-rushing Chadwick but Livesey can clear.

31mins - Wright takes the resulting free-kick trying to swing it in from slightly left of centre but it's too close to Williams, who gathers despite the ball bouncing right in front of him.

30mins - Dons making most of the running and are controlling possession at the moment. Plenty of black shirts to get through and as Chadwick tries to drive on with Baldock's pass he is tripped 35 yards from goal.

27mins - More good movement from Baldock as he steals in behind Livesey to reach O'Hanlon's long ball in behind. Carlisle skipper concedes a corner. Leven delivers deeper this time and Baldock climbs at the far post but his downward header goes into the ground and bounces over the bar.

26mins - Crowd get excited for a moment when Wright's fantastic crossfield ball from the right finds Baldock's chest. But the young striker is stretching and Kavanagh gets a head start onto the loose ball, reaches it first and clears.

23mins - Another Leven corner from the right nearly finds the climbing Llera but it's headed away well at the near post. Navarro finds Wright on the edge of the box, his mis-hit shot comes to Baldock whose effort from 12 yards looks to have hit a hand. More shouts from the crowd than the players though and play goes on.

22mins - Good switch from Gallen to find Wright hugging the right touchline. His cross from that side comes all the way through to Chadwick at the far post, he dummies to leave Raven on the ground before his shot is blocked from point-blank range by Livesey.

21mins - Good pressure on the ball from the Dons as Carlisle's movement down the right is stopped. Leven and Navarro working hard in midfield.

18mins - Carlisle close to a second there as Bridge-Wilkinson carries the ball forward, tries to slide the ball through to an offside Graham but the ball bounces off O'Hanlon and comes back to him. It's opened up as Bridge-Wilkinson moves into the penalty area but his shot is weak and Gueret blocks with his legs.

17mins - Dons starting to find their feet but it's a little rushed at times. Chadwick, moving infield as he likes to do, collects a bouncing ball before knocking it out towards Cummings on the right but he can't control properly and his ball out to Wright goes out for a throw.

15mins - Cleared off the line! Llera rises highest to meet Leven's corner but his downward header is hacked off the United goalline by Taylor. Great defending.

14mins - Wright hugs close the touchline and carries on down the right as Carlisle players appeal the ball's gone dead. His ball in towards Baldock is cut out by Keogh for a corner.

11mins - Amazing decision from the assistant on this near side as Bridge Wilkinson hits the deck under pressure from Lewington on the touchline. Seemed very little contact but the free-kick is given. Kavanagh's delivery is cleared.

9mins - Kavanagh is pulling the early strings on his Carlisle debut and nearly finds Bridge-Wilkinson with a throughball from deep. Willy Gueret is out quickly to gather on the edge of the box though with Llera overseeing.

8mins - First effort from the home side comes after Raven's poor clearance is cut off by Navarro straight into Baldock. He turns onto his right foot 22 yards out and his low shot is well saved by Williams in the Carlisle goal low to his right,

6mins - Just the start the home side didn't want but their supporters are doing their best to get behind them. Carlisle are packing the midfield with five, making space difficult to find.

Goal4mins - GOAL! MK DONS 0 CARLISLE UNITED 1 - DANNY GRAHAM
What a start from the visitors and the Dons have not got into this game from the start at all. Kavanagh is given room to carry the ball through midfield before smashing a 25-yard shot goalwards. Gueret beats it away to his left but Taylor is able to cross under little pressure and Graham rises in the middle to head unchallenged into the far-right corner.

Whistle12.15pm - KICK-OFF - Referee Phil Crossley gets the game underway with Carlisle, all in black, kicking off. The Dons are all in white playing from right to left as we look at it.

12.15pm - Skippers Dean Lewington and Danny Livesey perform the coin toss, the Dons have won it and will defend the Cowshed in the first half.

12.13pm - Great reception for the teams as they emerge into the midday sun. Shadow is covering most of the Cowshed half of the pitch with the other in bright sunlight. Looks to be a big attendance this afternoon, around 11,000 at first guess. A special mention must go to the 300 or so Carlisle fans behind the goal to our left. Rumour has it their supporters coach left Cumbria at 4.30 this morning.

12.10pm - TEAM NEWS - Dons boss Roberto Di Matteo reverts back to the side that started last weekend's 4-0 win at Millwall, with one exception. Kevin Gallen comes in to partner Sam Baldock in attack with Ali Gerba on international duty with Canada. Luke Chadwick makes a home league debut and Shaun Cummings retains his place at right-back.

Three changes for Carlisle include a debut for experienced loan signing and Republic of Ireland international Graham Kavanagh and a recall for striker Danny Graham. Graham is expected to lead the line as a lone front man, supported by Marc Bridge-Wilkinson. The other newcomer to the team is Luke Joyce in central midfield.

11.50pm - Welcome to sunny stadiummk for MK Dons' League 1 fixture against Carlisle United. Breakfast may have only just been digested for many of you, but it's a 12.15pm start for the players this afternoon. Count yourself lucky that you, unlike them, were able to chew down your cornflakes rather than pasta, chicken and the-like at nine o'clock this morning.

You couldn't have asked for better conditions in August let alone October - the sun in shining, there's hardly any wind and the temperature more-than-comfortable. The Dons are looking to record back-to-back league wins for the first time since August while Carlisle will be desperate to break a four-game losing streak.

For those of you not watching on Sky Sports 1 this afternoon, we'll be keeping you up to date with the action on mkdons.com. You can hear live commentary of the game on Dons World and we'll have photos, reports and match reaction throughout the afternoon.
