STURM EARNS TWO-YEAR DEAL
Milton Keynes Dons Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Austrian winger Florian Sturm on a two-year contract.
Sturm, 26, becomes manager Roberto Di Matteo's first signing and joins on a free transfer from Swiss Super League side FC Vaduz.
The former Austria Under 21 international impressed on a week-long trial with the Club, providing an assist for Sam Baldock in Saturday's friendly against Reading and a goal of his own in Tuesday night's outing against Sheffield Wednesday.
As well as Vaduz, who he helped guide into the top tier of Swiss football last season, Florian lists Tirol Innsbruck and Rapid Vienna among his former clubs.
He joined Vaduz from Wacker Tirol in 2006 and went on to score 14 goals in 51 appearances for the Liechtenstein-based team.
Florian becomes the Dons' second signing of the summer following the arrival of midfielder Peter Leven from Chesterfield.
